Regulation 9(1)(c) of the Education (Pupil Registration) Regulations 1995 provides that this is one of the prescribed grounds on which a pupil’s name must be deleted from the admission register. Please will you confirm to me in writing that this has been done.

Yes, that’s it. Simple as that.
In the UK, that’s how we do it….. well until school phoned to say actually you need to specify where she is being educated.
So I will rewrite it like this….

Just because there are jobs worth in every job. I have also emailed county. I shall include their response, below.
Thank you for sending this through. It’s the schools responsibility to notify me, but I do appreciate you letting me know as well.
Attached to this email are some notes for guidance which have been prepared for parents educating their children at home. I believe you have home educated previously but we have updated our guidance notes so hopefully you’ll find them useful.
If you would like me to arrange a visit with one of our EHE Visiting Officers, I would be grateful if you could please complete the attached questionnaire and return it to my office.
I will send paper copies of these through once I have received confirmation from the school, however if you would like them prior to that just let me know, and I can arrange that.
As you may be aware it is not compulsory to complete the questionnaire, nor to accept visits from the Local Authority and if this the case I will, of course, respect your decision. However, in order to ensure our records are correct I would be grateful if you could confirm this in writing.
